Walking Walking Walking

My watch says we walked 10.69 miles, while Dan’s says 9.71. The Apple watch isn’t perfect, but I’m sure we did at least what Dan’s says … and my feet agree, although the Clark shoes I am using are working great!

We walked to and through the Tiergarten today. We first saw a bit of the wall. I didn’t get close enough, but this will have to suffice. Somewhere near this is Checkpoint Charlie, but we didn’t go there.

We saw so much, but typing on my phone is a pain so for now please enjoy the images. I might update and write more later.

Yellow jackets were crazy in Amsterdam, and I guess the followed us here.

We saw a Wagner statue (I thought that one weary guy beneath Wagner might just be reacting to a long act of one of the composer’s works!😉), and then saw the Berlin Philharmonic Hall. Impressive, but sadly closed as they take an August break.

And just a few more from the walk back to our hotel:

We ate at a place a short walk from our hotel. The server was so friendly and very funny. Dan’s cheer to Scott in the next entry is at this same spot. (Sorry I didn’t get our server in focus: that’s what happens when one tries to pretend she isn’t taking a photo!)
