A Couple Porto Photos

I’ve started (finally) to go back through photos from our Big Summer Trip. I doubt I’ll ever get through them all, to be honest. But here are a couple of colorful images from Porto:

Clothing Sites (with notes on some things since I've had mixed results with some companies):

Darn Tough Socks My go-to socks!

Unbound Merino I have pretty much stopped using them because they are definitely geared toward the very slender. I do like their first iteration of their transit pants, but they altered the measurements a bit and changed how they use the elastic so never mind. If you are skinny and have the big bucks, go for it, though.

Wool& I haven't ordered from them yet, so stay tuned. They have my attention.

WOOLX Update: I’ve pretty much moved entirely to Woolx. Once I figured out my size they have worked well, aside from the pants length on some pants (but Emerson works well). I wore a shacket every day while in Scotland: nice for the cold weather there!

WOOLY I ordered Longhaul Shop pants from them and while they were SO wonderful in nearly all ways the waist was too large. I sized down and then the thighs were too tight. I know it's really about my particular body, but I had to return them. I'm thinking of trying the larger size again and taking them to a seamstress for adjusting. We'll see. I really like their prices, compared to others.

Travel Sites:

Away Together Younger (than me) travelers, now with a young'un. They have some good bits of advice, and have traveled the world. They have a YouTube presence.

Retirement Travelers I love these two! Their story is fun to read, and they've been more places than I'll ever get to! They have YouTube videos as well, and have great suggestions and tips.
