We’ve been away for a week and just arrived home tonight. I didn’t blog and post, but I DID write each day and will post the blog entries as soon as I can manage to get my photos reduced so they don’t take up too much space. (On our last trip I didn’t reduce things and it appears that that can cause issues sometimes.) We were first in Bennington, Vermont for a wonderful wedding weekend, and then went to Boston — our first visit there. Possibly our last, considering how many other places we’ve yet to see. I look forward to sharing our days with any readers who are interested.

First, though, I have to get myself ready for an opera tomorrow night . It’s hard to imagine playing after the week off (well, I did play for the wedding at least!). And there’s laundry. And trying to figure out why our charge card on Quicken isn’t balancing. (I’m annoyed that I can’t get Quicken to work when we are away now and I think it’s time to find a different app that works on the iPad and all, if such a thing exists!)

And even before I do anything else I think it’s time to sleep. I’m quite weary! Where we just came from it’s now 12:44 AM. Whew!
