A week from tomorrow I will be in New York at this time. Or at least I will according to the flight schedule. (One never knows, right?) In one way I’m sorry I have work this week (we are playing for the film E.T., but on the other hand it does make time pass more quickly.

I’m still debating on what I will take, especially regarding outerwear. So far it appears it will be just somewhat chilly but it also might rain. I’ve read suggestions that say bring a raincoat and a warm coat. Hm. That means more luggage. Everything will still be carry-on, but perhaps the smallish bag I was thinking of using won’t suffice.

While I’m busy thinking about that trip I also have to be doing things regarding our UK trip. I’ve yet to truly understand the Scottish train system. Some things can be purchased ahead with seating. Some can be purchased ahead, but no seat reservations. Some still aren’t available, but might open up any day. And, most importantly, I see no seating chart when I’m purchasing tickets. After last summer’s mistakes of seating the two of us back-to-back (MY fault!) I do want to get this done correctly!

Oh … and about the photos I posted from Porto. I wasn’t really thinking: THIS site is for writing about upcoming trips as well as writing while we are on them. It’s not a photography site like my other one. So I will post any more photos over there only, in case you want to check it out.
