Once again the internet is working slowly, so odds are I can’t post photos until we leave Venice. Ah well, it was bound to happen!

We had a wonderful dinner, and when they brought dessert out it had a candle for Dan’s birthday. I sang quietly … or thought I did. When I finished the others eating nearby clapped. Ack! I do NOT have a good voice! Later the server brought a bottle of wine to Dan as a gift!

Getting back to our hotel there was a chilled bottle of champagne waiting. Sadly we will have to wait on that, as we had wine at dinner.
