Saying goodbye to Paris, we took a train back to the airport, rented a car, and finally managed to connect with Jameson and Meghan.
From there we drove to Saint-Martin-en-Bière. Since it wasn’t yet time to get into the rental house we had a nice lunch in the town Barbizon. It appears to be a place full of painters … galleries were plentiful.
(Maybe some are tired of me making photos of them. Hmmm?)
We are now settled in the house. I hope to post good family photos at some point, but didn’t get anything tonight. (See note below about further photos.)
The internet connection here is pretty bad, so I’m not sure if I will post any photos this week: I will continue to write, but if I can’t get a stronger connection photos will be posted when we get to our final hotel, the day before we fly home if not later. Such is life!
Interesting stair construction. The photo of Dan with the beer makes the glass look huge (maybe it was hence the large grin on his face)
